We are on the hunt for a talented People Partner/HR Manager to join our team as Senior People Partner.
We are looking for a data driven, commercially minded and experienced Partner to join our People Team. As Store Partnerships Manager, you will take a lead in our Store Partnerships function, driving the People strategy through effective relationships across our stores nationwide. Working closely with the Head of People and managing a team of People Partners and Advisors, to support our store colleagues in making data led and commercial people decisions, always in line with our values. This role will involve regular travel across our stores nationwide.

About This Role
- Partnering with our Regional Managers across the UK, to develop and implement a People strategy that drives performance within their regions. Ensuring regions have clear talent management processes in place and data insights are regularly review with clear actions taken.
- Managing a team of People Partners and Advisors to coach and support store management teams in delivery of the people elements of their store business plans.
- Conducting regular People Store Visits across our stores nationwide to provide in depth support to store teams, following up with reporting, actions and insights.
- Responsible for providing comprehensive advice, support and guidance on all people related matters through the employee lifecycle. Management of employee relations cases in line with Company policies & procedures, employment law and demonstrating best practice to drive consistency whilst ensuring that cases are managed in a timely manner; use these opportunities to coach, challenge and upskill managers. Escalation point for more complex ER cases.
- Effective coaching and guiding of their team in their decision making, career and personal development
- Partnering with Pay & Reward Manager and Talent Development Manager, to interlink functions to maximise delivery of the overall People strategy
- Regular review of company and regional dashboard data to drive thinking and decision-making
- Champions governance controls including effective management of our onboarding, checks and legal responsibilities
- Deputise for the Head of People in store related matters
- Taking insight of our engagement levels across the UK through regular review of exit interview feedback, company surveys and feedback from store visits. Communicating feedback to key stakeholders and identify areas for improvement.
- Support stores in delivery of their base payroll budgets, helping them make people decision that aid this cost control, whilst aligning with our people strategy
- Taking a lead on change management processes that impact out stores, including new store openings, restructures, closures and TUPE
- Work with the wider People team to regularly review policies and procedures in line with legislation changes and industry trends
- Acts as a champion of wellbeing initiatives and raises awareness of available support across all regional teams
- Treats our in-store colleagues as our customer, maintaining strong standards of service to their queries, questions and concerns
- Project work across the full employee lifecycle
- Experienced HR Professional (ideally at People Partner/HR Manager level) with demonstrable experience and a strong comprehensive understanding of HR best practice and trends
- Influencing at all levels, including the most senior leaders, on issues varying from strategic to operational and tactical
- Experience in managing HR systems, reporting and analytics to make informed and effective business decisions to drive operational improvements
- Genuinely cares about delivering an excellent customer experience and thrives in a fast-paced operation; naturally passionate about people, calm under pressure and fun to be around.
