We are currently recruiting for a driven IT Project Manager to delivery projects on time, in full and to budgeted cost through a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance is always to quality standards whilst managing the engagement of project life cycle stakeholders throughout.


Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with relevant teams including Sales, TechDev, Design, Procurement and Finance to develop clear & detailed project design and scope for each project in your portfolio, ensuring the understanding of customer and end-user expectations is aligned

  • Create transparent and accessible plans for delivery of your projects using relevant tools including Monday.com

  • Manage the attainment of agreed project KPIs

  • Create, communicate and manage a dynamic risk register to anticipate and mitigate any risks to project delivery

  • Manage effective procurement of project materials using HT expertise and systems to achieve the right fit for quality, best price, best delivery to site, and highest margin

  • Ensure the effective management of HT systems in accordance with company expectations.

  • Manage a number of projects simultaneously, ensuring that the quality of execution meets (or exceeds) customer expectations

  • Be accountable for meeting customer technical expectations, monitoring the customer experience throughout each project, and obtaining customer project delivery sign-off

  • Be recognised as the customer’s key contact for project execution and develop a relationship with them, maintaining shared understanding of the project delivery programme, including project variations

  • Ensure provision has been made for the health and safety of all project team members for each project

  • Ensure a safety toolbox talk for each day of each project, as required

  • Ensure you are aware of any site environmental issues and that you manage the communication to and safety of the project team accordingly.


Required skills



  • Background in Access control, CCTV, and IT installations within commercial site settings, including operational settings

  • Demonstrable ability to work with customers to create detailed project specifications and ensure these are translated into technical documentation able to deliver customer’s expectations

  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate positively with sales & technical colleagues to create project documentation necessary to deliver to customer expectations and deliver multiple projects over a full life cycle

  • Conversant with contract documentation such as: bid drawings, site surveys, health & safety frameworks, technical specifications, programme scheduling, construction coordination, material procurement, labour resource planning including sub-contracting, financial agreements, and project commissioning / variation / completion / aftercare

  • Project management experience gained in a small to medium sized organisation, in a relevant sector, where the need to multi-skill across a broad range of project life cycle and associated activities is necessary

  • Commercial acumen, with financial management experience in a similar role

  • Resilient to changing requirements and scrutiny, with a growth mindset

  • Process & detail-driven, customer focused, naturally collaborative, always professional and positive

  • Holder of a driving licence which is valid in the UK, and willingness to travel to customer sites as required, to be actively involved with technical and non-technical colleagues and customer stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of each project

  • Self-aware mentor and collaborative leader


Desirable



  • Recognised project management certification.

  • Technical qualification/experience of electrical, telecommunications, instrumentation or IT
