Transactional Attorney (2-4yrs PQE) - Global Hedge Fund - Market leading comp package - #1676882

A leading multi-billion dollar, highly prestigious, multi-strategy hedge fund are looking to make a key new hire in to its European legal function.

This firm are achieving record performance in some funds, unprecedented demand for investment from new and existing investors + they continue to hire aggressively (with Europe being a key focus for them).

Reporting directly in to the General Counsel, we are looking to hire a transactional attorney, to support crucial investment transactions and related matters for the firm’s fundamental / credit-focused investment strategies. This attorney will assist with transactions of varying size, scope, and complexity, working closely with industry leading investment professionals (and senior management across many other areas of the firm’s business). Responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and analysing acquisition and financing agreements relating to loan and other asset portfolios, as well as advising on debt restructuring transactions.

Candidates must have an exceptional academic record. You will have relevant (transactional) experience at a top law firm and/or in-house. You will ideally have a structured/securitised credit background. A candidate with 2-4yrs PQE would be most relevant. You will have excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.

There is no specific base salary cap for this role, instead the firm can promise a large increase on current base salary and a bonus range above what its competitors pay.
