The Hotels

RBH is proud to present this exceptional opportunity as we prepare to take on the operation of two of Edinburgh’s most iconic hotels, soon to be rebranded under the globally recognised Marriott International brand. The Edinburgh Grand, located in the heart of the city’s vibrant New Town, will be reimagined as part of The Luxury Collection, reflecting its timeless elegance and rich character. Meanwhile, Old Town Chambers, with its unique blend of heritage charm and contemporary design, will become part of the premium Autograph Collection, known for celebrating distinctive, one-of-a-kind hotels.

This rebranding under a leading international hotel group not only enhances the profile of both properties but also reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Events Manager

Reporting to the Director of Sales, as the Events Manager, you will take a leading role in driving business growth and cementing our position as Edinburgh’s premier choice for corporate, group, and leisure clients. This is not just an events role; it’s an opportunity to showcase the unique character of our flagship properties while creating meaningful partnerships that reflect the prestige and allure of high-end hospitality in Scotland’s capital. Your passion for sales and innovation will be instrumental in positioning our properties as destinations of choice, delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding revenue goals.

Collaborate with Marriott’s global sales teams to expand reach and maximise inbound business opportunities.

Representing The Brand

Attend high-profile trade shows, networking events, and client meetings, serving as a confident and knowledgeable ambassador for the properties and RBH’s core values, while upholding the standards of the Marriott International brand.

Enhancing Collaboration

Work closely with the Director of Sales and leverage the resources of RBH’s central sales hub, as well as Marriott’s powerful global network, to optimise local sales strategies and ensure alignment with broader commercial goals.

Exceeding Expectations

Consistently exceed sales targets through innovation, identifying new revenue streams, and maintaining a relentless focus on delivering exceptional client value and satisfaction.
