Projects can vary from small works to £100m+ across Education, Heritage, High-End Residential, Cultural, Laboratories and more. They are currently seeking an experienced Building Physics and Sustainability Engineer to join their team.

Role

• Lead the assessment and optimization of building performance, focusing on energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and sustainability.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.


• Conduct energy modelling, simulations, and analysis to inform design decisions and improve project outcomes.


• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in building performance and sustainability.


• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Qualifications/Experience

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience in building performance analysis and sustainability practices.


• Strong knowledge of relevant software tools eg IES-VE.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.


• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
