Job Description Food Tour Guide Location Edinburgh EH RE :

We are seeking a passionate Food Tour Guide to join our team and provide engaging tours to visitors at various food venues and historical sites with an emphasis on the food and history in Edinburgh, Scotland. Availability to work 3/4 days a week minimum, weekdays and weekends included, but higher availability will be a plus. All applicants must have spent at least 2 years in the city and speaking clear and fluent English is a must.

Responsibilities:- Lead guided tours, providing historical and cultural information on the foods and historical sites to clients- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the tour- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude towards all visitors.

Qualifications:- Excellent communication skills in English (the tours will be in English), with a clear speaking voice. Knowledge of local food, history, landmarks, and attractions. Ability to engage with diverse groups of people. Strong organizational skills to manage tour schedules effectively. Passion for sharing knowledge and creating memorable experiences for visitors. Previous experience in tourism or customer service is advantageous but not necessary.
