Job Opportunity: Brick Cutting Supervisor
Location: Overseal
Hourly Rate: £16.00
Shift: AM Shift 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (with future flexibility required for a potential two-shift system: 08:30am 5:00pm)
Are you an experienced supervisor with a strong background in labour planning and production? Were looking for a Brick Cutting Supervisor to lead and support a dynamic team in a busy production environment.
?? Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of around 14 operatives, managing performance, absences, and employee relations.


• Plan and allocate daily labour to maximise the efficiency of brick cutting machinery.


• Oversee production planning, including sequencing of operations to meet output targets.


• Identify and implement lean manufacturing improvements to drive efficiency.


• Troubleshoot and support the maintenance of machinery a solid understanding of production equipment is essential.


• Communicate effectively across teams and shifts to ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience supervising production or manufacturing teams.


• Skilled in labour and production planning.


• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how to apply them practically.


• Hands-on knowledge of general production machinery, with strong problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.


• Flexibility to adapt to a dual-shift working model in the near future.
