About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data and Reporting Lead for a prestigious organisation in Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing data systems and reporting processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, developing and maintaining data reporting tools, and providing insights to support decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data across the company, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

  • Develop and maintain data models, reporting tools, and dashboards to provide insights to leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and provide recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide support.

  • Provide training and support to staff on data-related tools and processes.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and policies.

  • Develop and implement data and reporting strategies to support goals and objectives.

  • Conduct analysis of the Management Information System (MIS) and other potential applications to ensure alignment with data & reporting strategies.

  • Support the deployment of these systems with data architecture, data cleansing, and migration expertise.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data management, reporting, and analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Some experience or exposure to MS Fabric

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (including SQL, Excel & Power BI).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


This role will be mostly onsite in the company's Edinburgh office. There will be some opportunities to work at home but this role will suit someone who's keen to work in the office most of the time.
