Our client is looking for a temporary Legal Secretary
Client Details
A leading small firm
Description
Provide administrative support to conveyancing solicitors and fee earners.
Prepare and draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to property transactions.
Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally.
Manage case files, including opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with compliance procedures.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
Arrange property searches, Land Registry applications, and completion statements.
Diary management, including scheduling appointments and key dates.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Profile
Proven experience as a legal secretary, preferably within a conveyancing or property law department.
Excellent knowledge of conveyancing procedures and documentation.
Strong typing and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, case management systems).
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
