Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Yard Assistant located in the Greater Edinburgh Area. As a Yard Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their orders, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining the yard's cleanliness and safety, and ensuring an efficient and organized yard. You will also be responsible for stock control, and using appropriate equipment and machinery to handle materials
Qualifications
Experience in material handling and stock control
Customer service and communication skills
Ability to operate machinery and equipment
Health and safety awareness
Understanding of construction materials is a plus
Ability to work in a physical, outdoor environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Good organizational skills
