Specialist Dietitian Major Trauma

An exciting opportunity has arisen for at dietitian to work as part of the trauma MDT and with the wider acute dietetic team on the RIE site. Major trauma services have the responsibility and authority for the governance of all major trauma care in hospital and provide a dedicated major trauma service for patients with major trauma. This post forms part of the South East Trauma Network and will be part of the multidisciplinary team that will cover the Major Trauma Centre based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.The post holder will be expected to participate in student training (B & C placements) and provide support to other clinical specialties as required. We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.
We would welcome applications from experienced dietitians with an interest and/or experience of working in major trauma who are committed to working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high quality care.
