The roles
The Risk Data and Reporting Analyst roles will report into the Head of Operating Office and be part of a team that is at the heart of transforming the Risk Operating Model.
The roles will look for ways to connect data more efficiently, ensure consistent application of standards to data and reporting; and finds ways to use technology and AI to improve our processes, systems and controls.
The roles will lead on the systems, processes and controls supporting governance arrangements within the function and in support of external commitments to Boards and to ExCo; and they will be responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of documentation in support of the Risk operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Support the ongoing development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards that provide real-time, actionable insights to the Risk leadership; and work with colleagues across teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used for reporting purposes.
Support in the delivery of reports and dashboards for the Risk leadership and in support of the Board and Executive level MI. including KPIs for risk, financial performance, and operational efficiencies
Support the systems, processes and controls for things like reasonable steps; data governance; Risk operating model and plan; expense management etc This includes tracking, reporting and escalation pathways
Maintain key artefacts in support of the Risk operating model and reasonable steps framework; and systems for refresh and calibration.
Champion system and process improvement with insights on tech and data solutions to bring consistency more efficient ways of working.
Essential
Experience of gathering and interpreting data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets etc); and of managing data quality and integrity. Preferable to have experience interpreting financial data.
Understand how to use and interrogate databases and Excel; and data visualisation tools like Power BI; and have experience with translating complex raw data into meaningful business analysis
Practical experience of running systems, processes and controls in support of governance and reporting.
Used to working across multiple data sources and engaging with multiple stakeholders to bring data together in a way that maintains its quality, integrity and usefulness.
