Job Title: Field Sales Executive / Account Manager – Environmental Services (Pest Control)

Location: Field-based – Fife, Edinburgh and the Lothians

Salary: £25,000–£30,000 basic + uncapped commission Company car, phone, laptop + full technical training and development

About the Role: We’re partnering with a respected and well-established pest control business operating within the environmental services sector. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Executive / Account Manager to join a recession-resilient industry and make a genuine impact.

You’ll take ownership of a defined territory, managing existing client accounts while actively seeking out new business. Although pest control experience is not essential, a proven background in B2B sales is – full technical training will be provided.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines relationship-building with solution selling. Ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys autonomy, and wants to build a long-term career in a stable and growing industry.

Who You’ll Be Working With: You’ll be supporting and servicing a range of commercial clients across sectors including: SMEs Multi-site hospitality venues Food and drink manufacturers Housing associations Letting agents

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Proactively prospect and convert new business opportunities
  • Conduct on-site assessments and recommend tailored service solutions
  • Maintain CRM (ideally Salesforce or similar) and prepare regular sales reports
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure top-tier service delivery
  • Attend regular sales meetings and contribute to overall strategy

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales
  • Background in pest control, waste, recycling, hygiene, FM, janitorial, vending, or hospitality is beneficial
  • Comfortable conducting site visits and ‘boots-on-the-ground’ inspections
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Full UK driving licence
