Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Edinburgh are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner, unlike other support roles, with Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same!
You will provide individualised support to each person supporting them to come into drop-ins to access treatment, phone call support, welfare check-ins to prevent individuals dropping out of treatment and outreach engaging them with hobbies and interests to empower individuals to develop skills and independence.
Our Support Practitioner Role Will Include:
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will have flexibility to work on a rota.
You will be supported by an incredibly approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge whilst developing new skills.
About Us
The North East Recovery Hub offers a full range of drug and alcohol treatment and support services. We are a multi - disciplinary team comprising of Voluntary Sector, NHS and social work staff. We are based with our main office in Leith and working across our satellite location in Craigmillar.
You will be carrying out assessments and making referrals and managing your own case load based across any of the 2 sites.
We understand that everybody’s experience is different. When people come to our North East Edinburgh Recovery Service, we personalise their care to achieve their goals.
