Product Manager (SaaS) - #1795153
Gecko | AI-Powered Student Engagement Platform
Date: 6 hours ago
City: Edinburgh
Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day

Build meaningful software. Lead with AI. Ship fast. Help universities thrive.
At Gecko, we build software that helps universities around the world connect with future students in smarter, more human ways.
We’ve been integrating AI into our products for over five years (long before the hype). From intelligent chat to workflow automation, we’ve consistently looked for ways to help our customers do more with less. We’re now doubling down on what AI can unlock across our platform: faster decisions, smarter engagement, and better student experiences. And we want you to be a key part of that journey.
We’re looking for a Product Manager who’s excited about the future of AI and how it can be used to build better, simpler, faster products. You’ll join a small, ambitious team where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, ship quickly, and bring fresh ideas to life. You’ll work closely with Gecko’s product leadership and senior product/design peers to explore what’s possible and push boundaries together.
If you’re curious, experimental, and ready to build in the AI era, then we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
You’re an AI-curious product thinker, a hands-on doer, and someone who genuinely enjoys making software better for users.
This isn’t just a product role - it’s an opportunity to shape what modern, AI-enhanced software looks like in higher education.
We’re looking for someone who’s energised by experimentation, hungry to build, and ready to influence the future of our platform. If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk...
Before You Apply...
We’re so excited that you’re considering joining Gecko!
This Product Manager role is an important one, and we want to make sure it’s the right fit; for you and for us. To help with that, we’ve included a few short questions as part of the application. Some are practical (like your experience and product background), and others are designed to help us understand how you think, what you care about, and how you approach problems.
Top tip: We’re not looking for polished one-liners - we’re looking for thoughtful, honest responses that give us a glimpse of the real you. Tell us how you think about product, not what you think we want to hear.
We’ve included a few short video questions; don’t worry, this isn’t about being polished or professional. Just be yourself. A quick phone-style recording is totally fine.
We also suggest reading our guidance on using AI in your application. Applications that appear to be obviously AI-generated won’t be considered.
Thanks again for your interest - we can’t wait to hear from you!
