Job Summary:
As a Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for engaging in the sales bid process on complex large new logo sales, as well as the material upsell and cross sell of existing base clients. You’ll drive special projects assessing Business Performance across various units of the organisation. Additionally, you will specialise in costing and pricing for the Global Product Management function for the development of new and expanded service offerings.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- New deal financial modeling.
- Support for new prospect bids or RFPs by the sales team.
- Support for existing client product/contract transition to new service offerings, including cybersecurity, managed services, multi-cloud, customised DevOps, large scale professional services projects.
- Includes maintenance and enhancements for contract negotiation models to protect commercials and improve labor efficiency.
- Support and analysis for new product development, and existing product catalogue pricing evolution/updates.
- Assist with the calculation of commissions for the Sales and Customer Experience Management teams.
- Financial analysis and support for marketing campaigns.
- Other ad-hoc pricing and analysis support for the broader organisation.
Skills:
- Very strong financial deal modeling (costing, pricing, cash flow) and data analysis, with exceptional Microsoft Excel skills including VBA knowledge.
- Experiences building operational tools with limited context.

Qualifications:
- 3 - 4 years of experience in financial support functions, accounting and/or consultancy (transaction services preferred), investment banking and related roles, or management consulting.
- Sales support / bid management / deal modeling experience.
- Product Lifecycle Management knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of IT services / Managed Service Industry desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2:1
- Ability to commute to the Edinburgh office in a hybrid fashion.
