Description

  • Process client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules and other relevant regulations.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts daily to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle payment requests, including BACs, CHAPS, and cheque payments, within set deadlines.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, including reporting.
  • Maintain a clear and organised record of all financial transactions for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the wider secretarial and business support team to provide financial insights.
  • Respond to internal and external financial queries promptly and professionally.

Profile

A successful Legal Cashier should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar cashiering role within the professional services industry.
  • A strong understanding of rules and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
