Job

The role of Legal Cashier will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the cashiering function
• Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
• Performing daily bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Completing day-end financial procedures in line with compliance requirements
• Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting processes
• Working closely with an external legal client to maintain high service standards
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legal accounting regulations and procedures
• Supporting wider finance operations with additional ad hoc duties as required

You

As a Legal Cashier, you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:

• Previous experience within a legal cashiering or similar finance role
• Strong understanding of legal accounting rules and compliance requirements
• Experience handling bank reconciliations and high-volume transactions
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience within a law firm or outsourced finance environment would be advantageous
• Familiarity with legal accounting software such as Proclaim or Denovo would be beneficial
