Gilmerton Care Home, located in the peaceful south of Edinburgh, offers exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. Chef Contract

  • 14.58 per hour
  • Contracted to 30 hours per week
  • Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

What Matters Most

  • Previous experience working within a professional kitchen environment is essential
  • Food Hygiene certification or understanding of food safety standards is beneficial
  • Ability to work independently while supporting the wider kitchen team
  • Good organisation skills with ability to manage food preparation and maintain high standards
  • Reliable, professional and hardworking approach with genuine passion for quality food preparation
