Finance Director - #2120652

Reed Finance is supporting a major Scottish public sector organisation in the appointment of a Director of Finance.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the Finance and Procurement functions, overseeing a budget of approximately £500m and providing strategic financial leadership across a complex, high-profile organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee statutory accounts, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure robust financial governance, controls and risk management.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and key external stakeholders.
• Lead Finance and Procurement teams and support organisational transformation initiatives.

About You

You will be a proven senior finance leader with:

• Significant experience operating at Director, CFO or equivalent level.
• Strong technical accounting, governance and financial planning expertise.
• Experience managing large-scale budgets within a complex environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A track record of leading teams and delivering organisational change.

• Fully CCAB qualified
