Senior Procurement Officer | £385 Inside IR35 | Edinburgh Hybrid | 3 Months

Lorien are currently supporting a key public sector client with the recruitment of a Senior Procurement Officer

Key details

• Edinburgh (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
• £385 per day
• 3 months Initial contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement and tendering projects for goods, services and works.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract performance, KPIs and service improvements.
• Engage senior stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement strategies.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify savings, efficiencies and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activity is compliant with public sector procurement regulations and governance requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Produce procurement reports, recommendations and market insights for stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and support procurement systems (Oracle/ERP).
