If you're interested in getting hands on with FPGA, analogue & digital design, embedded systems, Python automation, verification & testing, and true R&D, this is the job for you.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and validate high-speed digital electronics, FPGA solutions, embedded software and application software.
- Build and automate product testing and characterisation using Python, developing repeatable test plans and customer-facing technical reports.
- Support customers and partners with technical evaluations, demonstrations, training, integration and first-line technical support.
- Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows and industry events, feeding customer insight back into product development and engineering
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related subject, with some relevant industry, internship or project experience.
- Exposure to electronics design, including schematic capture (e.g. Altium/OrCAD) and hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging and rework.
- Experience or academic/project exposure to C, Python and FPGA design, with an understanding of software development practices.
Personal Requirements
- Fast learner and naturally inquisitive, able to quickly understand new technologies and apply them practically.
- Proactive, reliable and adaptable, with the confidence to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong communicator who can translate technical problems between customer engineering teams and internal engineering.
Bonus Skills
- Experience working across the hardware/software interface, particularly where system constraints and interfaces are critical.
- Exposure to high-speed digital design or FPGA development.
- Experience with automated testing, technical documentation, specifications or customer-facing engineering.
