An exciting opportunity to shape legal strategy and influence business decisions within an international organisation -

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded legal professional to join an established international business in a pivotal European legal leadership role.

This is an opportunity for a confident and pragmatic in-house lawyer to work closely with senior leadership, providing strategic guidance while remaining hands-on in the delivery of legal services across a diverse and fast-moving business. With responsibility spanning multiple jurisdictions, including a Central European subsidiary, the role offers significant breadth, autonomy and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on business performance and risk management.

You will act as the principal legal adviser to the European business, partnering with senior stakeholders and functional leaders to provide clear, commercially focused advice on a broad range of legal and business-critical matters.

Combining strategic oversight with operational delivery, you will help the organisation navigate legal and regulatory complexity, protect its commercial interests and support its continued development across Europe.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Legal Leadership & Business Partnering
• Commercial Contracts
• Governance, Compliance & Risk
• Corporate Transactions & Strategic Projects: Advising on a range of business-critical initiatives and other strategic projects, coordinating external legal support where appropriate.
• Intellectual Property & Brand Protection
• External Counsel Management
• Board & Group Support
• Legal Transformation

You will be a qualified Scottish or English solicitor with at least 6 yrs post-qualification experience and a strong background in an in-house legal environment.

Salary range: c £85- 95,000 depending on experience + Bens.
