Our client, a well-established UK insurance group, is looking for a Commercial Account

Handler to join its motor trade renewals team in Edinburgh.

The role

You’ll support a busy commercial motor trade renewals team, managing a portfolio of

policies and making sure customers and brokers get a smooth, accurate service at renewal.

Day to day, you will:

● Handle renewals from start to finish, including preparing terms, reviewing and

updating policy details, and issuing documentation

● Respond to queries from brokers and policyholders by phone and email

● Process mid-term adjustments and changes accurately and on time

● Work with underwriters and colleagues to keep renewals moving and retention strong

● Keep records and compliance standards up to date

Requirements

● At least 2 years’ experience in insurance

● Commercial motor or motor trade experience is preferred, but candidates with a

personal lines background and a keen interest in moving into commercial will also be

considered

● Strong attention to detail and confident, professional communication

● Organised, comfortable managing a deadline-driven workload

● A team player who takes ownership and wants to build a career in commercial

insurance
