Langham Recruitment

Contract | 18 Months £575 per day | Inside IR35 Edinburgh Based Programme | Flexible Hybrid Working

We're supporting a major UK property and construction organisation embarking on a significant ERP transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to play a key role in the successful implementation of COINS ERP.

Reporting to the ERP Programme Manager, you'll lead a critical workstream covering data migration, systems integrations, reporting and archiving. Working alongside internal stakeholders, implementation partners and third-party suppliers, you'll ensure technical delivery remains aligned to programme milestones and business objectives.

While the programme is Edinburgh-based, there is flexibility around office attendance. Candidates should be comfortable spending time on-site when required for key workshops, planning sessions and stakeholder engagement, but the role is not tied to a fixed number of office days each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Data & Integration workstream within a major COINS ERP implementation.
  • Own workstream plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and governance activities.
  • Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, implementation partners and suppliers.
  • Drive delivery across data migration, integrations, reporting and archiving activities.
  • Manage RAID logs, change control, decision tracking and executive reporting.
  • Oversee migration planning, data quality activities, rehearsals, reconciliation and business sign-off.
  • Coordinate end-to-end integration delivery from design through to testing and deployment.
  • Support testing, cutover planning, go-live readiness, hypercare and transition to support.
  • Ensure supplier commitments, dependencies and deliverables are actively managed.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex ERP, data migration or systems integration projects.
  • Strong technical project management background with ownership of end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong planning, governance, dependency management and risk management capabilities.
  • Ability to translate technical detail into clear business-focused updates and reporting.
  • Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous COINS ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data warehousing or reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of integration architectures and data migration approaches.
  • Experience operating within multi-vendor programme environments.

Industry Experience Applications are welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Housebuilding
  • Construction
  • Property
  • Infrastructure
  • Engineering

The Opportunity This is a chance to join a long-term ERP transformation programme with significant executive sponsorship and a sizeable technology footprint. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the data, integration and reporting components of a business-critical COINS implementation.

For experienced Technical Project Managers with ERP delivery expertise, this represents an excellent long-term contract opportunity.
