Meraki Talent’s leading financial services client is actively looking for an interim Solutions Architect to join them on an interim basis as they continue to build a scalable architecture function that connects the strategy of the business to their technical delivery. Partnering across the business and tech, working with the wider architecture team you will look to achieve executable solution design, ensuring these align with internal architectural principles.

Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect (Fund Management)

- Analyse and document the existing Bus Ops application landscape, designing solution architectures aligned with standards, target-state architecture and transformation objectives

- Produce architectural designs and documentation across Business, Apps, Data and Tech, ensuring compliance with principles and governance

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and deliverable solutions.

- Design integration and architectures, including APIs, event-driven solutions, middleware and data migration, ensuring security, quality, compliance and connectivity

- Provide architectural leadership throughout design, build, test and deployment

Background of the Solutions Architect (Fund Management):

- Extensive experience working with a Solutions Architect capacity essential

- Experience working within financial services highly preferable

- Able to commence contract in Nov or Dec 2026 and happy working in the Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis

- Knowledge of cloud architectures, with the ability to produce architectural diagrams and documentation

- Solid understanding of design principles, TOGAF is handy but not essential

Please note the requirement to work in the Edinburgh office 2/3 days each week, is non-negotiable
