The role
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll undertake the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of systems and equipment with the highest level of professionalism and technical competence, ensuring that all activities are performed in strict accordance with the individual’s training and established industry best practices. This includes a commitment to safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, while upholding the integrity and reliability of the systems being serviced.
Day-to-day, you’ll actively contribute to the planning and preparation of works, and to execute tasks in accordance with the provided work packs.
Essential Experience Of The Electrical Technician
Security Clearance

Day-to-day, you’ll actively contribute to the planning and preparation of works, and to execute tasks in accordance with the provided work packs.
- Ensure full compliance with all health and safety requirements outlined in the work pack and applicable to the designated work area.
- Conduct regular safety and behavioural observations to promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness.
- Adhere strictly to the quality standards and specifications detailed in the work pack.
- Respect all designated hold points and do not proceed beyond them without proper authorization.
- Promptly report any defects, damage, safety hazards, or other concerns to the line manager to ensure timely resolution.
- Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities, within the scope of the role holder’s competence, as directed by the line manager.
Essential Experience Of The Electrical Technician
- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical components or equipment.
- Soldering experience would be beneficial
- Experience of running cable trays and panel wiring would be of benefit
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Security Clearance
