SPEN Authorised Site Supervisor - #2154939

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a SPEN Authorised Site Supervisor on a 6 month rolling contract based in Scottish Borders.

Role Summary

We're looking for a SPEN authorised site supervisor to lead a steel structures crew on a SPEN substation job.

Our client is a specialist steel fabrication and erection contractor delivering substation steelwork. They need an experienced supervisor with current SPEN authorisation to run their team on site. You'd manage the day-to-day work safely and deal directly with the SPEN site team.

Responsibilities

• Supervising steel erection and structures work inside a SPEN substation
• Running the site day to day: inductions, toolbox talks, pre-job briefs and site records
• Working with SPEN staff and the principal contractor on permits, access and safety documents
• Making sure all work follows SPEN safety rules, the RAMS and CDM
• Keeping the crew productive and the job on programme

Requirements

• Current SPEN authorisation (Competent Person or Authorised Person)
• Supervisory experience on substation or HV construction sites
• Steel erection, structures or civils background preferred
• First Aid at Work, Temporary Works Supervisor and HSG47 are all a bonus
• Full UK driving licence
