General Ledger Analyst - #2174028

My Edinburgh based client are currently hiring for an experienced General Ledger analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional to join an established team and grow and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the general ledger ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data
• Deliver reporting activities including reconciliations and month end close.
• Validate data and share any risks or concerns with the wider business
• Translate financial reporting into digestible content for stakeholders and managers
• Support business transformation team with innovation and process improvement

Relevant experience:

• Strong experience in General Ledger accounting including month end reconciliation.
• Experience using ERP systems within a finance team
• Strong experience across accountancy including balance sheets, transfer pricing and revenue
• Fully or part qualified Accountant with a relevant recognised body
• Strong experience of cross collaboration across business units both in the UK and wider global teams
• Experience of interogating and challenging financial data
